Dr. Alger is an extraordinarily kind, patient, and learned man who is active in his field. He is an intuitive listener who treats his patients with courtesy and understanding. I feel so fortunate to be one of his patients. His professionalism is also evident in the staff he has chosen for his practice. They reflect Dr. Alger’s commitment to excellence. His Hygienist, Kasey, for example, is tops in her field. I live an hour and half away, but to have the pleasure of working with Dr. Alger and his team, I happily make the drive.

Dr Alger is a gift from God! An amazing periodontist! I have no words to describe his natural, gentle, genuine compassion & humble care for his patients. A patient for 15 yrs, he never ceases to amaze me. He has always gone “beyond” to diagnose the best solution in every situation. Dr Alger’s character & spirit permeates throughout his entire team. His office is warm, pleasant, efficient & immaculate. Appointments are prompt & communication reminders are excellent. Kasey, my hygienist is a joy! Thank you for always being the best of the best!!!

Kasey is the most thorough dental hygienist I have ever experienced. I really appreciate the time and care she puts into every visit. And many thanks to her and Dr. Alger for taking the extra time to diagnose the source behind what likely is a developing serious tooth problem, one my regular dentist was unable to find.

I found Dr. Alger to be very professional and reassuring during my initial appointment as I was feeling a little apprehensive of what the outcome of my dental issues might be. On my second visit during my treatment plan I found everything to be the same and the treatment was much less difficult than I had anticipated. The whole staff is great, professional, reassuring and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Alger and his assistant Michelle were a God send. I had all kinds of fears about getting a gum graft but Dr. Alger did such a wonderful job. I had a gum graft on my bottom right side about 2 weeks ago and Michelle was very comforting and reassuring the whole time. I chose to stay awake for the procedure and everything went so smoothly. They played my favorite music and were very communicative. I was expecting to be in a lot pain and agony but really the procedure was easy and the last 2 weeks of recovery have only been with minimal discomfort. I think Dr. Alger is a genius with how well he stitched me up. I didn't even have bleeding in the area where they took tissue even though that is a common occurrence post surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Alger and his team to anyone needing these types of procedures!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Alger & his staff. Everyone was so compassionate, competent, & professional. Dr. Alger’s gave a detailed explanation of the work he recommended as well as reassurance. The procedure went incredibly smooth thanks to all of the staff with a special shout out to both Michelle and Michell who make me feel comfortable and well cared for during the initial consultation and following procedure. From the front desk (Special thanks to Rosemary for helping myself and my wife navigate the paperwork and scheduling) to the doctor, everyone is so kind and really care about their patients. I cannot recommend this office enough.

I have been going to Dr Alger for multiple reasons over the better part of the last 15 years for my periodontal needs.He is by far one of the most knowledgeable, accomplished & credentialed doctors in his field. Teaches at the Ohio Sate University & is a highly sought after speaker at conferences around the country. Not to mention one of the most genuine & down to earth people we will ever meet. I could go on but I believe I have made my point & obviously recommend him highly!

Dr. Alger is great! He put me at ease immediately. He’s so friendly and seems to genuinely care. He took his time explaining my dental situation and options. Kasey is masterful at what she does. She performed my perioscopy and numbed me thoroughly, which I greatly appreciated. I went in feeling pretty nervous but quickly knew I’d be just fine. 10 outta 5 They have a perioscope!
